I believe that to become a doctor takes time. You do not become one just after graduating. For me it was a long 27-year journey filled with joy, unique professional, personal, and spiritual experiences, along with loss, grief, self-realization and healing. Many times I would ask myself why a certain experience was sent into my life and now like a beautiful quilt it all came together.
